• 1959: GPC was established as a toll and Private Label manufacturer in Lebanon, producing decorative paint for the local market.
• 1960’s: Licensee agreement with Glidden Paints U.S.A. to produce and distribute its products for the Middle Eastern countries.
• 1978’s: First introduction to the Automotive Refinish Market with the production licensee agreement from Valentine Paints, France.
• 1985: Inauguration of its Zouk facility.
• 1994: Development of independent Automotive Refinish Line – GenRock.
• 2005: Inauguration of Ghazir facility.
• 2006: Introduction of Savant Spectrophotometer.
• 2007: Development of Gen2O – Waterborne basecoat system.
• 2013: Development of GenVerde – VOC compliant range of products for the US market.
• 2013: Expansion of Ghazir facility.
• 2013: Inauguration of the local facility in Paris – France.
• 2014: Acquisition of the Salt Lake City facility.
